Alan Viader

At the heart and soul of Intentus Fine Wines is our owner/winemaker Alan Viader. Originally from Argentina, Alan grew up in the small community of Deer Park, Napa Valley working as the grapegrower and winemaker on his family's vineyard (VIADER). Over the past 21+ years, he has been fortunate enough to farm and make wines from some of the world's best winegrowing regions alongside some incredible winemakers. Alan applies a unique approach to grape growing and winemaking that challenges new world conventions while paying tribute to old world traditions, resulting in a highly sought-after and coveted collection of wines.

Intentus was born from Alan's insatiable appetite for adventure with the intention of making great wines with a sense of place and character, but also with the purpose of giving back to First Responders. Alan is not only a winemaker, but also a first responder with Napa County Sheriff Search & Rescue and a firefighter with Napa County Fire Dept. Station 21.
