2022 Intentus Paso Robles Syrah, 3x750ml

The 2022 Intentus Syrah leads with vibrant aromatics of rich dark fruit, blackberries, lilacs, and hibiscus flower generously sprinkled with exotic wood spices, creamy caramel and vanilla. This incredibly round, medium-bodied wine offers supple tannins and a silky mouthfeel which seduces your senses and your palate all the way to its long mouthwatering finish that just doesn’t quit. This is not a Syrah made like a Cabernet Sauvignon. It is pure, varietally-correct freshness and seduction in a glass. 
 
Fermented in a small open-top stainless-steel tank, punched down gently by hand 2-3 times per day. Aged in 100% neutral American oak barrels for 10 months. 3 barrels produced.  
 
Vineyard notes: The 2022 Intentus Syrah comes from a small, hand-farmed vineyard estate on the very cusp of the west end of Paso Robles in the Creston District AVA. The Creston District is rich with a pioneering and agricultural history that dates back to the 1800’s. Soils are predominantly Monterey formation shale, well-drained and benefits from the Templeton Gap, a slightly lower elevation to the Santa Lucia Mountains to the west, that allows the cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean to infiltrate the area bringing temperatures down considerably. All characteristics that are ideal for premium Syrah production.
 
Wines are sold from our little winery location in Napa Valley, CA and sent to a third-party shipping company for fulfillment. Ground shipping is standard. Upgrades are available at an additional cost. Wines will ship ground only when temperatures are safe for the wines.
